Your Surgeon is Certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery
- This means your surgeon has:
- Additional training above and beyond that of a general surgeon
- Successfully completed an accredited training program in colon and rectal surgery
- Successfully completed the certifying and qualifying exams in colon and rectal surgery
- Participates in maintenance of certification
- Has particular expertise in the diagnosis as well as medical and surgical management of colon and rectal disease
